Whole-House Addition

For this four-square in South Portland, we doubled the interior space with a series of off-angle additions and significant interior renovations. We added an office, bedroom, bathroom, mudroom, laundry room, pantry, storage and a shed - as well as expanding and re-configuring the existing kitchen. This challenging project, designed by Michael Belleau Architect, features a complicated framing system, polyurethane spray-foam insulation by Northeast Spray Insulation, and an innovative fiber-cement board and batten siding system.  The increased efficiency of the additions have allowed the owners to be more comfortable, increase their living space, and spend less on utilities than prior to the expansion.
